A role scorecard for Philippines outsourcing support
A practical scorecard for comparing scope, evidence, quality, and escalation judgment before a role goes live.
A useful outsourcing role starts with observable work, not a broad title. List the recurring queue, the expected output, the tools involved, the response window, and the decisions that stay with the owner.
Score sample work across accuracy, completeness, documentation, turnaround, and escalation judgment. Keep those dimensions separate so a fast but careless submission does not look equivalent to a careful one.
Use a small test set with known answers and one ambiguous case. The ambiguous case shows whether the candidate asks a useful question instead of guessing.
Keep customer, payment, security, and policy decisions outside the role until the owner has reviewed evidence from the first week.
Method note: this control-oriented framework is informed by NIST access-management guidance at https://www.nist.gov/cyberframework and should be adapted to the company process.
