Service-scope complexity in Philippines outsourcing decisions

A research lens for deciding whether one support role has a coherent scope or too many unrelated decision paths.

Research question: when does adding another task make a support role harder to manage than it appears?

Complexity grows when tasks use different systems, have different owners, carry different risk, or require different response windows. A long task list can look efficient while creating hidden context switching and more escalation points.

Map each proposed task to its output, source system, reviewer, decision boundary, and expected timing. If two tasks share none of those properties, they may belong in separate role briefs even when both are called administration.

Use a small sample of each work type before expanding the scope. Compare error patterns and owner questions across tasks rather than averaging them into one score.
